Sleek Single, M7266 or Dual Chanel, M7265 RS-232/RS-530 A/B Switches, Take your Pick!

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just introduced a pair of sleek (1U) rackmount bi-lateral switches, Models 7266 and 7265. The Model 7266 Single Channel and the Model 7265 Dual Channel RS-232/RS-530 A/B switches enable sharing any DB25 interface device connected to the Common port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports.

The switches have manual front-panel control and remote control via a rear-panel Remote DB15 Control port. A front panel LED display indicates switch position and unit power status. The switched DB25/Female ports (A, B, and COMMON) are transparent to all data. The switch position status of each channel of the unit can be monitored through the DB15 Control port. Both models retain current switch position and maintain continuity through the switch even if power is removed or a power failure occurs.
