Model 7241S DB25 A/B/C Switch with 10-Base-T Secure Setup, Remote Access

Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces its Model 7241S Single Channel RS232/RS530 DB25 A/B/C Network Switch. This network switch provides one channel switching in a low profile, 19” 1U rack unit. The data network switch enables sharing a single DB25 interface device connected to the COMMON port among three other devices connected to the A, B, and C ports. Switch Setup/Configuration access is secured by password protection.
The Model 7241S data network switch is controlled manually via a front-panel pushbutton. Password protected remote switching is via the 10-Base-T RJ45 rear-panel control port. This control interface has an IP address and listens on the standard TELNET port (23) for incoming connection. A front-panel LED indicates switch position, power status, and network status. All 25 pins of the DB25 interface are switched. The Model 7241S data network siwtch maintains position and continues to pass data during power loss.
