Electro Standards Laboratories is heading to Defense TechConnect 2026 in National Harbor MD!

Next week, Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL) will be at Defense TechConnect in National Harbor, MD, showcasing our work in advanced power solutions for demanding defense applications on Tuesday September 22, 2026.

Raymond Sepe, CTO of ESL, will be presenting our latest work in Active Transient Suppression for DC power buses — a technology designed to help manage the challenging power transients created by high-power pulsed loads such as radar and directed-energy systems.

Our approach combines supercapacitor energy storage with actively controlled power conversion to help isolate pulsed loads from the primary DC bus, maintaining cleaner, more stable power for other critical systems. The technology also has potential applications beyond defense, including high-performance computing and other systems with demanding pulsed-power requirements.
