Create Expandable Switching System with Modular A/B Switches and Rack with Power/Control Module

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, announces the Model 7007 RJ45 A/B Switch Module with Contact Closure Remote Port and the Model 9043 Module Rack Power and Control enclosure. Up to seven of the compact Model 7007 switch modules slide into the Model 9043 rack allowing expansion to more channels on an as-needed basis.
The Model 7007 A/B switch allows quick and easy connection to any one of two devices from one common device. All 8 pins of the RJ45 interface are switched making this switch applicable to any RJ45 interface device. All of the switch ports are transparent to data speed and format. The remote control port accepts contact closure commands for switch position control. Front panel LED’s display switch position and power status for each switch module. The Model 7007 retains its last switch position in the event of a power loss and continues to pass data. This switch is made to last; it features a rugged aluminum case that provides EMI/RFI shielding.
The Model 9043 Rack includes a Power/Control module that accepts customer supplied power and remote signaling. The Model 9043 rack also includes a Power/Control Bus Cable to interconnect all the switch modules in that rack. Filler panels are available to attractively cover unused module slots. Control individual switch modules via a front panel pushbutton on each Model 7007 or simultaneously switch all the modules remotely via Contact Closure commands from the Power/Control unit.
