Path Way® Remotely Controllable Network Switch
Model 7269V DB9 Interface A/B Switch Configured to Support Tandberg Camera/Codec Connections, with Serial Remote Control Port 

  • Ideal for switching Video Conferencing, Broadcast,
    and Presentation Systems.


The PathWay® Model 7269V DB9 Interface A/B Network Switch allows the user the capability of sharing a single DB9 interface device connected to the Common port among two other devices connected to the A and B ports.  The A, B, and COM ports are configured to support Tandberg Camera / Codec video conferencing connections.

The switch may be controlled locally by manually operating the front panel push button or remotely from the DB9/female serial interface Control port located on the rear of the unit.  Switch position states may be attained locally via the front panel LED display or remotely using RS232 serial data commands. 

Features:

  • The switch ports are transparent to all data.
  • All pins of the DB9 interface are switched. 
  • Pins 1 and 6 use Cat6 cable material.
  • Pins 4 and 5 support 12VDC, 1.5A.
  • All other pins support serial data communications.
  • Local position control using the front panel pushbutton.
  • Serial Remote Control to switch the position of the Model 7269V,
    lock and unlock the front panel and query its status. 
  • The Model 7269V DB9 Switch maintains position and continues
    to pass data during power loss.
  • Front panel LED's display the current switch position and the
    switch power status.

Option: Wide Range Power Supply: (Cat No. 517277) CE and UL listed table mount power module, 100VAC/240VAC, 50/60Hz in place of the standard 115 VAC or 120 VAC,  power module.  Ideal for international applications.
