Path Way® Remotely Controllable Network Switch
Model 7277 DB9 A/B Switch, with Contact Control Remote Port, 1U Rackmount
The Model 7277 DB9 A/B Switch with Contact Control Remote Port allows the user the capability of accessing two separate devices, ports A and B, via connection through a device connected to the Common port.
The switch may be controlled manually via the front panel pushbutton or remotely from a DB9 Control port located on the rear of the unit.
The front panel LED display indicates the switch position and power status.
Features:
- The switch ports are transparent to all data.
- The DB9 Remote Control port provides access to remotely switch the unit by dry contact open/close logic.
- Front panel pushbutton control can be locked out remotely through contact closure.
- The unit maintains last set position on power loss and continues to pass data.
- Front panel LEDs display the current switch position and the switch power status.
- All (9) signals of the interface are switched.

- Remote Control Port: (1) DB9(F) Control connector accepts contact closure signals from a remote device.

- Power: UL approved 120 VAC, 60 Hz, wall mount power module supplies 12 VDC, 500 mA to the unit.
- Dimensions: Rackmount, 19" W x 1.75" H x 8" D.
- Weight: Approximately 4.5 lbs (2 Kg).
