Electro Standards Laboratories Joins the ATR Seaport-e Team

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, is a SEAPORT ENHANCED Team Member for Advanced Technology & Research Corp (ATR). ATR is a diversified engineering firm dedicated to providing high quality products, engineering, integration, and technical support services to the public and private sector.

ESL’s R&D Contract Engineering Services Group is pushing technology forward with innovative solutions in advanced electric motor control algorithms, sensorless control of AC motors, power electronics systems, digital signal processor based boards for custom solutions, computer simulation for dynamic control and estimation systems, Web-based real-time monitoring and control with GPS, and embedded and precision instrumentation for sensors and control. ESL is designing Linear Motor Control Systems to launch aircraft from next generation carriers. ESL is also developing technology to harvest energy utilizing a small buoy free floating on the ocean surface.

ESL also offers over 30-years of experience in data communications products. ESL manufactures state-of-the-art copper and fiber optic network switches and cable assemblies. ESL has experience in voice and data network installation, including wireless.
