M5014 DB-25 A/B/C Rackmount Switch with Contact Closure Remote for Local or Remote Switching

Electro Standards Laboratories has just announced its new Model 5014 DB-25 A/B/C Switch with Contact Closure Remote. This network switch provides one channel of switching in a low profile, 19” 1U rack unit. The switch enables the sharing of a single DB-25 interface device connected to the COMMON port among three other devices connected to the A, B and C ports. This switch switches all 25 pins. It retains the last switch position in the event of power loss or failure.

The switch may be controlled locally via front panel pushbuttons or remotely via the rear panel Remote controller. The Remote control interface accepts contact closure signals received from a distant located control unit such as the ESL Model 5015 Remote Control Unit.
